I visited Murmansk for the first time, and of course I came to see the northern lights. The weather forecast was so-so - cloudy, snow, and so all four days of my trip. In general, I didn't really hope so much, but upon arrival I received a message from Andrey that we were going today! He was not mistaken with the vantage point, and we arrived just in time to have time to uncover cameras, tripods and start shooting. This was my first experience of shooting Aurora, and I was not very familiar with the camera yet, but Andrey quickly and competently helped me with the settings, for which he has a huge respect and many thanks :) And he even shared his tripod for stellar shots, because that my tripod did not allow the camera to be turned all the way up. It was cold, hands were freezing, but a warm car and delicious hot tea helped out! It didn’t shine much that day, by 2-3 points, but the impression was absolutely magical, it’s very beautiful! In the end, we stopped at Abram-Mys, from where there is a beautiful panorama of Murmansk at night, but it was already late, and I did not get enough sleep, and decided not to take pictures, which I greatly regretted the next day. But fortunately I managed to visit there again on another day. I am returning home with the most wonderful impressions, thanks to Andrey, I will definitely come here again!
