The first attempt failed to catch the aurora, but the second trip exceeded all expectations. It was worth almost a sleepless night and several hours in pursuit of clear skies!
After the first unsuccessful "hunt" and the cloudy sky on the second day, the hope of seeing this miracle began to fade. And, probably, only Andrey from the whole group believed in the success of the "hunt", did not give up and eventually found a huge canvas of clear sky with a unique radiance.

We hunted for the shine in the company of Andrey. I would like to note the impeccable organization of the excursion, the guide is always in touch, promptly answers any questions. You can also recommend an excursion for visiting with children, more than comfortable transport + an assessment for safe driving. Of course. We were lucky, in a sense, we saw an amazing shine, but Andrey's merit is not small in this, we drove, chose a place, consulted the maps, at first we had no luck, but thanks to the persistence of the guide we saw everything we wanted.

On November 23, Andrey and I went hunting for the Northern Lights. The forecast was not the best - activity 3 points and significant cloudiness. I had to go far out of town. As a result, Andrey managed to find a gap in the clouds with the help of a special navigation on his phone and we saw a shine. Thank you, Andrey!

They were supposed to go on the 22nd, but at Andrey's suggestion, we went after the radiance on November 23, in order to see not just the sky, but the radiance, and they did not lose: they saw the radiance of various forms and how they shimmered. One of the auroras was even slightly reddish around the edge. Andrei chose the place well (probably the only one from where the radiance could be seen on our day), although the day was cloudy. I liked everything, we will recommend it to friends.

Everything was so competently planned down to the smallest detail (tea, coffee, delicious mulled wine and muffins) that they saw the shine from 1 time. And the bonus was very cool photos. The hunt for the Northern Lights failed. Contrary to forecasts, the aurora did not appear. We could not see anything. We rode in the dark, saw a little night city. The guide, of course, was not guilty of anything and tried his best - Andrey, thank you very much. But, it just so happened ...

It was amazing! The forecast was not bad, they were going to go 51 km, but as soon as we left the countryside, the radiance flew in, and so bright (by 6-9 points) that we urgently rushed to the parking lot at 12 km, where it played out just to something incredible ! We even saw the dunes, which we had heard about on the radio a couple of hours before, that they were allegedly recorded in Norway and Sweden for the first time, and our guide Andrey said that they appear in Murmansk all the time, there is simply no station that would record them. The guide, by the way, is amazing. Not only is he sociable, polite, pleasant, but also trouble-free and attentive: he treated him to tea and chocolate, took photographs, took him to the other side of the Kola Bay, to the observation deck, so that we even saw the beautiful night Murmansk and took pictures at the monument to the defenders sky, capturing a piece of radiance. All in all, an amazing trip and an experience of a lifetime! Thanks!

I was very lucky that I met Andrey, there was an abnormal emission in the sun and we managed to find a clear sky in a strong blizzard and see the amazing northern lights !!! 3 flashes, the last one is like an arc in the whole sky! Andrey is attentive, he will ask everyone how things are, if they have frozen, there are replaceable warmer shoes, a nice warm car, which in practice we made sure it will go everywhere and will not stall, delicious hot tea! And, of course, photographs for memory with a professional camera, everyone was photographed several times from different angles :)

Yes, this is not an ordinary excursion with a lot of information, but a photo trip and a gambling hunt (as indicated in the description). Where words will be superfluous. And a lot depends on the whims of nature.

Of course, I, like many, expected a more colorful picture. But this is only because we know little about this phenomenon, although there is enough information on the Internet. The eye, unfortunately, in contrast to the lens, does not see everything so brightly.
The weather that day was bad: snowy and cloudy. And we drove with doubts about a successful hunt. But Andrey was able to find a suitable place with gaps, and luck smiled at us, the radiance flared up stronger than predicted. It is so mesmerizing and delightful! Provided me with all the information I needed, gave me advice on staying in Murmansk in general. On the day of the excursion I coordinated in advance, arrived at the hotel well in advance. At the beginning of the excursion, he explained where we were going, how we were looking for a point of view, what the forecast. We arrived quickly! there were a lot of people at the vantage point, but Andrey chose a place and ensured that no one bothers us to enjoy the spectacle and take amazing photos! Andrey sent a photo literally the next day after the excursion, although he reserved himself two or three days. Well, it is worth noting delicious tea and chocolate! yes, and Andrey also made sure that no one froze, he always has warm shoes and blankets with him in case someone is not dressed for the weather.
