The Kola Fjord is the most famous Russian fjord!

The Kola Fjord is one of the most popular routes not only for tourists from all over Russia and abroad, but also Murmansk residents regularly travel along the Kola Bay to enjoy panoramic landscapes!

Kola Fjord - our one-day excursion to the most beautiful views of the western coast of the Kola Bay! We will ride along the most interesting and picturesque places of the route, take cool shots, have a snack or have a picnic with a panoramic view and walk along the tundra to the waterfall!

ABOUT KOLA FJORD

The Kola Fjord was discovered back in 1826 by an expedition commanded by Mikhail Reinek. The bay is named after the settlement of Kola, which at that time was located on the coast of the bay.
• The length of the fjord is fifty-seven kilometers, while the width varies in different places from one kilometer to seven.
• In winter, the Kola Bay practically does not freeze (except for a small area near the coast) due to the strong current of the Kola and Tuloma rivers flowing into it, and the warm Gulf Stream.
• The landscape of the fjord area is stunningly beautiful.
• Shrubs and moss cover the steep, steep West and East coasts.
• The Kola Fjord has two fractures in the areas of the capes of Srednaya Guba and Pinagoria. There are many islands in the bend of the North Bay, the most famous of which is Toros - an island with a unique landscape.
• There is also an ice-free military port named after Catherine II, Catherine's harbor.

EXCURSION PROGRAM AND SCHEDULE

1. Gathering of participants

The tour guide will pick you up at the place of departure in Murmansk, which will be convenient for you. It is not only convenient, but also exciting - we will ride around the city to pick up other participants of the excursion.

2. Kola bridge

We will drive along the longest highway beyond the Arctic Circle!

3. The village of Abram-Mys

It offers a stunning view of the hero city of Murmansk, the sea terminal, the Lenin nuclear-powered ship and many other attractions of the historical center. There is also an open-air air defense museum with aircraft and rocket launchers.

4. Mishukovo

The next stop awaits us near the village of Mishukovo. There is also a Mishukovsky lighthouse and a bright orange radar station. On the opposite side of the bay, you can see the entire Russian nuclear fleet at the berths of the RosAtom company and the only aircraft-carrying cruiser in Russia, the Admiral Kuznetsov.

5. Lavna Falls

The waterfall on the Lavna River is well-known and beloved by many Murmansk residents. 25 minutes walk from the road along a calm river and a real northern waterfall opens up. Seething, violently beating against rocks and stones.

6. Retinskoe

The farthest point of the route will be this almost abandoned village. Its main advantage is a beautiful view of the city of Severomorsk, located on the other side of the bay, which slightly opens the veil of secrecy for the most curious travelers. There is also a solar-powered lighthouse and the remains of once majestic ships ...

Combined mini-group - a fare for a group of tourists from different cities who travel separately from each other.

The cost of the excursion depends on the number of persons who plan to travel together. For example, you are planning to travel in a group of 4 persons - husband + wife + two children. Then the total cost of the excursion will be for you: 4x4000 ₽ = 16,000 ₽
► for children under 10 years old a 20% discount

Price per seat:
• 3500 ₽ / person, for a group of 5-7 persons
• 4000 ₽ / person, for a group of 3-4 persons
• 4500 ₽ / person, for a group of 2 persons
• 5000 ₽ / person
► During the New Year holidays from 27.12 to 09.01, the cost per person may be increased

Prepayment = 1000 rubles (included in the tour price):

• Non-refundable if the excursion is canceled by the customer in less than two days;

Own vehicle fleet

• We DO NOT rent transport for excursions and tours. Therefore, we know the technical condition of our cars to the smallest detail and regularly undergo preventive maintenance in order to exclude any malfunctions during travel.
• In our fleet there are 2 modern comfortable minibuses for prefabricated and corporate minigroups up to 7 people and 1 crossover for individual (up to 3 people) and VIP travel.

Mini-groups

We conduct tours and excursions in the mini-group format for up to 7 people, since the mini-group format has a number of advantages:
• allows you to find an individual approach to each client and satisfy any of your whims and wishes;
• save time on organizational processes - boarding / disembarking, moving to the location, briefing and other technical aspects of the tour;
• it is much easier to spend time in a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Photo accompaniment
